Background

It started with a simple idea: on-demand, text-based primary care. Bringing together doctors and technology, 98point6 gives patients 24/7 access to doctors right on their phone.

As a part of the marketing team, I led visual design, video, and motion graphics. I mentored junior designers, created brainstorming workshops, and implemented new web accessibility standards. In collaboration with executive leaders, I created many foundational pieces including our explainer video and animated product demos.

Web design

98point6 needed a visual refresh for its careers page to better reflect the company's mission and culture. We wanted to incorporate custom photography, the voices of actual employees, and to make all the info easy for job seekers to understand. I owned the visual side of the process, including wireframes, photography production, and final design.

Results:
• Average time spent on the page increased by 40% on mobile, and 28% on desktop
• Job post conversion was 7% higher than the previous quarter

Print design

As a company that partnered with employers and health plans, we output a huge volume of materials that were co-branded with one or more other brands. I designed these printed pieces as templates that could be quickly be updated to be used by many different partners, simply by re-linking a few key elements.

Explainer video

The goal was to create an all-purpose video that would highlight our product in a compelling and efficient way. It would be the first thing shown during a sales pitch, and would have high visibility on our website. To stand out from the dull seriousness of traditional health care marketing, we brought in humor and relatable scenarios to illustrate the convenience of the app.

For this video to have longevity, it needed the ability to be updated as the interface of our app evolved. To solve for this, the phones displayed a green screen during filming, allowing me the flexibility to use motion tracking to add the footage of the actual app in post production.

I was the co-writer, producer, director, cinematographer, and editor.

During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, I created concepts that allowed us to pivot our content production to utilize motion graphics, stock footage, and interview footage we could capture safely.
